Fix various problems with notification layouts
- Fix end padding for inbox notification.
- Fix that actions in BigText were clipped off.
- Fix that second line was never shown.
- Fix top padding in combination with badges.

Update text selection handles to have a minimum touch target size.
The text selection handles were traditionally sized based on the size
of the provided drawables. When these drawables are visually small, do
not restrict the size of the touch target beyond a certain minimum.

Revert "Remove circular mask"
This reverts commit 2e8b27e898af3af1165a79e7c5f8b59f63f20a2f.
It also makes the circularMask option configurable via overlay.
It is set to false by default.
An offset dimension entry is also provided, for displays which have
a "chin". This is set to 0 by default.

Update DatePicker widget and its related dialog
- the old DatePicker widget is still there for obvious layout compatibility reasons
- add a new delegate implementation for having a new UI
- use the new delegate only for the DatePickerDialog (which does not need to be
the same)
- added support for Theming and light/dark Themes
- added support for RTL
- added support for Accessibility
- verified support for Keyboard
- verified that CTS tests for DatePicker are passing (for both the legacy and the
new widgets)

Updated "with-default" layout added for ResolverActivity
Add a layout that promotes the last chosen activity to the top for
ResolverActivity. Alter ResolverActivity behavior as appropriate: Only
the last selected activity can be set as default. Different activity
selections take effect immediately. You can only set a default if it
was the last-used target of the intent.
Also add some default strings for invoking common intents to make the
no-title invocations a bit more user-friendly than just, "complete
action using."

Refactored the notification backgrounds
The background now only uses one specific drawable and emulating
the legacy behaviour by tinting. Notification backrounds are now
also a ripple drawable, giving feedback on click.

- Implement a new volume panel widget, combining volume and
zen mode + conditions.
- Show zen mode + conditions when modifying ringer or notification
streams.
- Host the volume panel widget in a dialog when being controlled
by the audio service / volume keys.
- Remove support for multiple sliders in the volume panel.
- Remove support for separate ringer + notification volumes
in the volume panel.
- Move volume panel resources up to SystemUI.
- Create a new combined Notifications quick settings tile.

AlertDialog and AppError themes for TV.
Leanback themes override AlertDialog styles from other themes.
Makes system alert dialogs, and alert dialogs from games running on ATV,
have a style more appropriate to television.

dpad navigation.

Implement new SYSTEM_UI_FLAG_IMMERSIVE_STICKY.
Migrate transient bar mode to IMMERSIVE_STICKY, and
introduce new behavior for IMMERSIVE: namely the
opaque bars are revealed by clearing the flags on swipe.
Remove low-profile optimization that confuses api demos
and other apps using low-profile as a signal.
TransientNavigationConfirmation renamed to
ImmersiveModeConfirmation, and its associated resources,
since the confirmation is now shown when the nav bar is
shown in either of the two immersive modes.
Remove unused Toast.makeBar and associated hidden framework
bits now that the confirmation uses a cling instead.

Fix some drag behavior bugs in keyguard

Make sure you can drag back up immediately without the delay of extra

Impose a height & width downward on challenge views.
This means that challenges may no longer wrap_content, even
vertically. But it's the only way to rationalize across
different challenges, some of which want to be a fixed size,
some match_parent, and some wrap_content.
This change also fixes some problems with the password view
as well as PIN view (usable again on sw360 devices like
Galaxy Nexus).

Fix issue where security view sometimes doesn't show.
Since the code is now very careful about loading layouts, we
sometimes get into a situation where the security view isn't shown.
This CL ensures the security method is shown at least once

Fix keyguard dimensions; IME state for password view; layouts
Fix a bug where ordering during inflation caused us not to set a
keyguard callback early enough to properly modify window flags. Add a
gross hack to work around this for now.

Global gesture to toggle Accessibility system-wide.
1. This change adds a global gesture for enabling accessibility.
To enable this gesture the user has to allow it from the
accessibility settings or use the setup wizard to enable
accessibility. When the global gesture is enabled the user
can long press on power to bring the global actions dialog
and then hold with two fingers for a few seconds to enable
accessibility. The appropriate feedback is also provided.
2. The global gesture is writing directly into the settings for
the current user if performed when the keyguard is not on. If
the keygaurd is on and the current user has no accessibility
enabled, the gesture will temporary enable accessibility
for the current user, i.e. no settings are changed, to allow
the blind user to log into his account. As soon as a user
switch happens the new user settings are inherited. If no
user change happens after temporary enabling accessibility
the temporary changes will be undone when the keyguard goes
away and the device will works as expected by the current user.

3. The initialization code for the owner was not executed due
to a redundant check, thus putting the accessibility layer in
an inconsistent state which breaks pretty much everything.

Replace keyguard with new implementation
This change refactors keyguard to be more modular and maintainable. More
specifically, it replaces the top-level view with just one device-dependent
view that contains two views: a widget area and a security area.
The widget area can be populated with custom widgets.
The security area contains the current security method as dictated by
the stored password quality.
This change contains both the old and the new keyguard with the old keyguard
still enabled. The new keyguard will be enabled in a subsequent change.

Update SystemUI for sw600dp devices.
Devices between 600 and 719dp will now use the two-bar
(phone) SystemUI layout, or something like it, derived from
PhoneStatusBar. Devices above 720dp will use the system bar
from TabletStatusBar.
However, this distinction is not to be made based on dp, at
least, not by the SystemUI; the goal is to drive most of
this switch from the window manager. Therefore most of
SystemUI's sw600dp resources have been folded into the main
set of resources (renaming them to avoid collisions where
appropriate). This allows SystemUI to choose which set of
resources to use entirely by switching status bar
components, entirely independent of Configuration.
(For some resources, particularly around recents, it seemed
more expeditious to keep relying on the device
configuration, so those resources have been bumped up to
sw720dp.)

Adjust action bar tab policies
Action bar tabs now stack in portrait mode on all screen sizes rather
than display embedded. This only affects apps with a targetSdkVersion
of JB or greater, as older apps may not be prepared for the different
measurement of the bar or have an appropriate stacked bar background
drawable.
Stacked action bar tabs now have a width limit. This prevents
super-wide tabs that can span the whole screen. The cluster of tabs
is centered if it does not span the full width.
Add ActionBarPolicy to give a single point to query for various action
bar measurements and behaviors that vary with configuration.

Clean up status bar, system bar, navigation bar management.
The status bar and navigation bar are two completely separate
elements, with their own semantics. The system bar now classifies
itself as a navigation bar, since that is really how it behaves.
This required rewriting the HDMI resizing code, so that it is
all done by PhoneWindowManager since that is what is responsible
for the size of the navigation bar (and thus now system bar). This
actually gets rid of a fair amount of code, and means we can also
do the same thing for a pure navigation bar.
Likewise the system bar now has the navigation bar ability to be
hidden when requested by system UI flags. To get the behavior
we want on Xoom, we only allow the nav bar to be hidden when it
will help provide a better aspect ratio for showing widescreen
videos.
Finally the nav/system bar now animates when hidden and shown.

Fix bug 5534667 - Action bar icons need more space on tablet
Set a wider minimum width for the action button style on -sw600dp.
Fix an annoying bug where recycled ActionMenuItemViews would retain a
lingering pressed state, causing an unrelated button to glow briefly.
The home/up affordance should not be focusable when it is disabled.

Fix 5404916: Make layout fit on 480x800 hdpi device
This fixes the layout to work on a 480x800 device. Change required

Subtract the navigation bar from DisplayMetrics.
Its region is now treated like the system bar: inaccessible
to applications and therefore not worth reporting as part of
the display.
(Note that using setSystemUiVisibility you can gain
temporary access to the navigation bar region, unlike the
sempiternal system bar.)
The navigation bar is now considerably less in control of
its own behavior (the window manager assumes it will be a
certain size and in a certain position in landscape and
portrait). This change also fixes the navbar so that it
becomes GONE instead of merely INVISIBLE (allowing
underlying windows to expand in size accordingly).

SearchView behavioral and visual changes

Derive GridLayout's 'gap' constants from new "default_gap" entry in dimens.xml.
Also:
. removed static import of R.styleable - this is non-standard
. removed final modifier from DEBUG flag,
this prevents the compiler from excluding the debugging code but
allows debugging code to be enabled externally
. added override to removeAllViews() as GridLayout needs to be notified whever hiearchy changes.

Polish of the ActivityChooserView and ShareActionProvider.
1. Addressed the UX comments: ActivityChooserView's default selection
popup no longer shows a message, rather hightlights the default
action which now it displays. Alignemnt of the UI.
2. The ShareActionProvider shows a sub-menu if the host item goes
on the overflow menu.
3. Now the heade layout of the activity chooser view is not needed hence
dropped and the item and footer ones are merged.

Dialog-o-rama!
New styling for Holo dialogs. Now 76% easier for apps to create
dialog-based layouts! (Less tricky padding and margin rules)
Cancelable AlertDialogs now are canceled when the user touches
outside.
Dialogs in landscape mode will try not to fill the width of the
screen.

Rework how we decide whether to use system or status bar.
The PhoneWindowManager is now responsible for determing this,
since it needs to do this before we can generate the configuration
since we need to take into account the system bar size we will use.
Also the Display should now report the screen height without
including the system bar.

Action bar work for phones
Tweak sizing and layouts for action bar on smaller devices. The action
bar's size is now partially dependent on form factor and orientation
to conserve screen space, especially in landscape mode.
Alter the max action menu items for smaller devices. Disallow text on
action menu items with a horizontal width of less than 480dp when an
icon is available.
Remove the "Done" text on the action mode close button. (TODO: get a
properly sized 9-patch resource for this - the current one has an
intrinsic width that is too large.)
When setting an action bar icon as a resource ID, the bar will attempt
to load a mipmapped resource that is the closest available for the
target size.

Rework thumbnails in activity manager.
We now only keep a thumbnail for the task, not for each
activity. However if you use FLAG_ACTIVITY_CLEAR_WHEN_TASK_RESET,
we will make a new secondary thumbnail for that series of
activities. There is a new API for the app to get these
secondary thumbnails.
Also set a default thumbnail size for non-xlarge screens
so we have thumbnails on phones. (We need some smarter
code in the platform for computing the actual thumbnail
dimensions of the current device). And add a test app
to show recent tasks + thumbnails.

Add "min size" facility to the Window class.
This allows us to have a new dialog theme that behaves like an alert dialog
for both Dialog and Activity versions. Very useful with so many more things
being displayed as dialogs on our nice large screen.
Note I didn't change the existing dialog themes to have this behavior, since
it will probably break things. Instead there is a new variation. And the
DialogWhenLarge variations now use this for their dialog form, to fix many
of the real new dialogs we have that need this behavior.
Removed the public definition of the one alert dialog theme. None of the
others have ever been public, this one shouldn't be.
Added new .Panel versions of the Holo themes, like we already had for the
original themes.
Changed the alert dialog layout to no longer use WeightedLinearLayout,
since the window now takes care of that. This allowed for the removal
of the xlarge version of those layouts.

Fix bug 2927837 - PopupWindows don't account for xlarge status bar height
Add framework dimension resource screen_margin_bottom. This describes
the bottom margin formed by permanent screen decorations. In xlarge
configs this is equal to the height of the permanent system bar.
PopupWindows now size and position themselves with respect to
screen_margin_bottom.

Fix 2797185: Re-enable thumbnail generation in framework
This re-enables thumbnail generation code in the framework
with a few improvements.
In addition to enabling the system to capture thumbnails,
it removes padding from the borders to account for space
overlapped by system widgets (status bar, etc.). Thus,
the contents of the bitmap are only those pixels unique to
the activity.
It also maximizes resolution of the bitmap by capturing the
image in the application's current orientation. In landscape
mode, it captures a bitmap with dimensions w x h. In portrait,
it captures a bitmap with dimensions h x w. Where w and h are
thumbnail_width and thumbnail_height as defined in dimens.xml.
Though enabled, the change is not currently used in this
branch. The work is being checked in here to avoid
complicated downstream merges.
