Reformat timezone display name to de-emphasize GMT and sun.
Remove parentheses from around the GMT offset, and make both the sun and
the offset a lighter gray than the time.

Per "designer" request:
Removed the one and only text which explains what the heck does the sun symbol mean
Set the sun symbol to gray
Removed current and recent labels
Also removed dead code that deals with search by time zone
