We have a bunch of typedefs for common things that made no sense
and hid the actual type from plain view.
Replace them with proper uXX or sXX types.
Exception is in lustre_idl.h where
they are replaced with __uXX and __sXX to be able to be included
in userspace

The bug was caused by race between truncate & fsync.
osc_extent_wait() doesn't takes into account oe_trunc_pending
during setting oe_urgent. The race arises after
osc_object_unlock().
osc_extent_wait() should ignore extents with oe_trunc_pending
while waiting for OES_INV. osc_cache_truncate_end() will set
oe_urgent and call osc_io_unplug_async()

631abc6e65a7777afcdfa126343db99eaba03c3b 24-Jul-2013 John L. Hammond <john.hammond@intel.com> staging/lustre/obdclass: use a dummy structure for lu_ref_link

Move the definition of struct lu_ref_link to lu_ref.h. If USE_LU_REF
is not defined then define it to be the empty struct. Change the
return type of lu_ref_add() and lu_ref_add_atomic() to void. Add
lu_ref_add_at() taking same arguments as lu_ref_add() togerther with a
pointer to a struct lu_ref_link and returning void. Adjust all
structures containing a lu_ref_link pointer to contain a struct
lu_ref_link instead. Use lu_ref_add_at() and lu_ref_del_at() to
handle embedded lu_ref_links.

[Original patch mainly changes lu_ref.[ch] but in upstream client we don't
have lu_ref code in the hope of moving to kobject refcounting. So the patch
only picks the other pieces of original patch, in order to keep code in
sync and make it easier to port future patches.]

ptlrpcd_add_req() will wake_up other process, do not hold a spinlock
before calling ptlrpcd_queue_work()->ptlrpcd_add_req().

If current process is allocating memory, memory shrinker could get to
osc_lru_del(), don't call osc_lru_shrink() further since it could
lead a long calling chain.

Use static string OES_STRINGS in OSC_EXTENT_DUMP() to reduce stack
footprint.

Alloc crattr on heap for osc_build_rpc() to reduce stack footprint.

d7e09d0397e84eefbabfd9cb353221f3c6448d83 02-May-2013 Peng Tao <bergwolf@gmail.com> staging: add Lustre file system client support

Lustre is the most deployed distributed file system
in the HPC (High Performance Computing) world. The patch
adds its client side support.

The code is not very clean and needs to live in drivers/staging
for some time for continuing cleanup work. See
drivers/staging/lustre/TODO for details.

The code is based on Lustre master commit faefbfc04
