video: irq: Remove IRQF_DISABLED Since commit [e58aa3d2: genirq: Run irq handlers with interrupts disabled], We run all interrupt handlers with interrupts disabled and we even check and yell when an interrupt handler returns with interrupts enabled (see commit [b738a50a: genirq: Warn when handler enables interrupts]). So now this flag is a NOOP and can be removed. fb: Use platform_data to retrieve tmiofb platform bits With the addition of the platform device mfd_cell pointer, we can now cleanly pass the sub device drivers platform data pointers through the regular device platform_data one, and get rid of mfd_get_data(). fb: Use mfd_data instead of driver_data for tmio-fb Use mfd_data for passing information from mfd drivers to mfd clients. The mfd_cell's driver_data field is being phased out. Clients that were using driver_data now access .mfd_data via mfd_get_data(). This changes tmio-fb only; mfd drivers with other cells are not modified. console: rename acquire/release_console_sem() to console_lock/unlock() The -rt patches change the console_semaphore to console_mutex. As a result, a quite large chunk of the patches changes all acquire/release_console_sem() to acquire/release_console_mutex() This commit makes things use more neutral function names which dont make implications about the underlying lock. The only real change is the return value of console_trylock which is inverted from try_acquire_console_sem() This patch also paves the way to switching console_sem from a semaphore to a mutex.
